Happy new year!

We started off family breakfast with French toast stuffed with cream cheese and blueberries

Then we hiked to a cemetery not far from our compound. The old dirt road use to drive past it but now takes a different route and you have to hike through cow fields to get there. In the cemetery there is a grave for William Wes Hudson who was an outlaw who was shot in Oklahoma and brought back here to be buried. He was 23.

Also we have a family member Orange Tucker who was a full blooded Indian who was abandon and then adopted by the Tucker family. He would be my grandfather 5 or 6 times removed. He is buried only a few miles from our house at crossroads cemetery. Here are the kids at his grave

After we got home mom had a project for the girls. We made hex nut DIY bracelets. They are all over Pinterest and super cute. Unfortunately after many tries we kept having pin fails. We laughed so hard at the end looking at our pitiful work.

The one in the lower left corner is the actual pin. Don't be confused that is not our artistic work.
